The Boys at Space Station Bravo - Part 1

Part 1 – My Arrival  I arrived at the Bravo Space Station when I was in my teens, in the year 2077. With almost a year at battle training school, it was good to have a place to call home.  The place was gigantic, long open walkways all enclosed by only steel beams and glass! Nothing but huge windows, you can look up and see millions of stars, look down and see our plant, slowly turning down below.  I simply was told to follow the small robot to my room and if I have any questions, just ask the robot. The robot (size & the shape of a trash can) lead the way. I asked how many people are up here. It told me: “Around twenty or so, it changes all the time” It also said that everyone there was around my same age. Most are somewhere from 13 to around 20 years old, even the commanding officer was just 24. Most of the older men were already killed, from all the previous space battles.  I had been trained to simply shoot down enemy spacecraft i...

Part 2 – Anti-Gravity Roo m  It was during my fourth or fifth week at the space station. And do to the many victory’s lately against our enemy’s, most of the space station will be given a week’s leave. I did get sort of excited about it. The trip back home, seeing some of my family and maybe even traveling with Sammy a while. Just to stay with him a short time, would be an adventure! I started my packing my stuff and fantasizing about what may happen, when...    The commander knocks at the door, steps in and said; “I heard you may volunteer to stay, during the upcoming leave time. We just need a few of you guys to man the space station. You, with two others, is just right. Well just think about it.” Then he said; “Well, I’ll check on the other volunteers that mention your name and I’ll get back to you, Thanks Johnnie” And he was gone.  I had heard he needed at least three volunteers to stay up here, while the rest of the manpower is gone on leave. B...

Part 3 – Monitoring Stations  Trunks, Sammy and myself (Johnnie) were just hanging out in one of our rooms bull-shitting, when we hear the troop transport ships all starting to arrive in the docking area. The three of us had been left there to man the space station, while the rest of the crew were all on leave down on the home planet. (In my part 2 Anti-gravity room story) We then headed over to the docking area to welcome everybody back. Sammy and Trunks knew almost everyone, talking and waving to lots of the guys but, I knew very few of them, do to me, being kind of new there. Sammy and Trunks kept introducing me to the others as they came off the ships. (kept saying nice things about me too) 😊           Then one of the bigger ships arrived with the commander aboard, he stepped out. He smiled and shook our hands and then thanked us for taking care of everything while they were all gone. The three of us just looked at one another...

Part 4 - Trunks Apartment  After our adventures while checking the monitoring stations (back in part 3) we finally got “ our time” to head back to the home planet. It would take us around three hours to get there. And as we cruise along, Sammy and I talked and talked. Trunks just sat there, quiet. Then (out of the blue) he spoke up and just said; “You guys want to stop by and see my apartment? I just got it from my uncle and it’s kind of nice, but it’s in the middle of that gigantic fucken city.” Sammy and I just went silent for a second. (As you may know, Trunks doesn’t talk much) Sammy then said; “Sounds like fun, if you don’t mind Trunks.” I just agreed and said; “ I’d like to see it!”   Trunks then turned the ship in another direction and (like always) he just sat there quiet. So, Sammy and I went back to bull-shitting. After a while, the three of us landed on his apartment roof. Trunks set the cruise ship to auto-park and the three of us got ou...

Part 5 - Training of Solar Boy    Now that I’ve been at the space station at least 7 months (and still alive) They asked to help with the training of some of the new guys coming in, the one guy for me was an alien boy, half human and half alien. These days, I just find it kind of interesting, most everyone now has some alien in them and/or some human in them. And as with everyone, most of them are just nice people. (and a few are not)  The commander had told me that he’d be here sometime today. I was kind of bored anyway (and a little bit lonely) with Sammy & Trunks out fixing some satellite defense sensor and there was no one to talk too. I had wanted to go with them but, because of my schedule and me filling-in for someone, it just didn’t work out.  Then there was a knock at the door, I opened it and there he was, and wow! Dam tall, six-foot, six, super thin and just super good looking. He had long straight black hair and his face ...
